I’m more concerned about DC tbhAny official word on Grubb as OC?
There is no official word that we have a new head coach yet, so...Any official word on Grubb as OC?
7-0 if you include Lincoln Riley.
Agreed, but a lot of that was the competition and the incredible release speed of their QB.I hope DeBoer brings his o-line coach. They gave up 12 sacks in the entire season.
I imagine he'll interview for the UW job.Any official word on Grubb as OC?
Agreed - He got the ball out FAST. Knew where/when pressure was happening, knew exactly where the outlet was and got the ball out. Watching him against UM and I was greatly impressed with that - he wasn't always accurate on some of them, but at least he didn't take sacks...Agreed, but a lot of that was the competition and the incredible release speed of their QB.
Probably their center as wellAgreed, but a lot of that was the competition and the incredible release speed of their QB.
lol, I don’t think that is super relevant or insightfulDeBoer has faced Alabama and Saban before. It was in 2017 when Fresno State traveled to Tuscaloosa. DeBoer was their OC. The result was an Alabama win, 41-10, as Jalen Hurts ran for 154 yards and 2 touchdowns and passed for a 3rd score as the #1 Crimson Tide jumped to an early lead by Hurts' 55 yard touchdown run 2 plays into the game.
I expected that anyway tbh.If CKD is indeed our new HC, I think we can expect a real competition for QB1.
a terrific historic and hopefully accurate analogy! My hope is this guy is to Nick Saban what Frank Thomas was to Wallace Wade.
