Couldn't decide if this was football or NSNP, but in a close call landed on Football.

Either way, it's a lesson in how you should act....though I don't know whether Orgeron has the brain capacity to learn a lesson.

Ed Orgeron owes ex-wife $8 million of LSU buyout after Louisiana Supreme Court ruling

Apparently, Orgeron signed the last contract with LSU about 6 weeks before he filed for divorce. But he was paid the buyout after the split was final. Louisiana Supreme Court says he owes his wife (whom he left while she was undergoing treatment for cancer) half the buyout of over $16 million.

I do wonder if he still has the $8 million he now owes his wife. Regardless, couldn't happen to a more deserving guy.

Normally, I couldn't care less.

But his utterly classless comments after he won the lottery on a roulette wheel SOLELY because of one super talented transfer quarterback (and a Tua fumble that still defies all physics and logic).....well, let's just say he learned that love is a prison, a place he didn't want to be.

Take away his one season where Joe Gunslinger and a Swiss cheese defense won the title, and his record as a coach is 52-47. Take away Burrow - who only came to LSU because he was relegated to mop up duty at the Horseshoe - and his career mark is 42-44.

He was horrendous as a head coach and should serve as a reminder that "but he won a ring" is a TERRIBLE argument for greatness for anyone, including a player.

Though Ed Orgeron hasn‘t commented publicly regarding the fallout from his ongoing financial battle with his ex wife, Kelly Orgeron, a reliable source told us that he remarked, “emscraflo shridflagoop frandjelopy rocknefloogla admondreflaugut…..Go Tigahs!”

I like the way you worked in lyrics there from Alabama's Love in the First Degree.

I hope Ed hasn't already spent all of his money on his girlfriend.

Even if the law didn't require a 50/50 split after 23 years of marriage, equity sure as hell did. I can't imagine trying to deny her this...

Orgeron is one of those "kids" who truly never grew up mentally or emotionally. We've all known or went to high school with people like this. They reach a point of emotional and mental development, and for whatever reason, never develop further the more they age. They're the 40-year-old still trying to act cool around the HS and college kids, acting and doing the same things they do. Oger reminds me a lot of this type.

Right after he found out he lost $8 million, he was ripping his shirt off while he danced at a wedding down here last weekend. Can't find a video link, but Ed's apparently living the wild and crazy life.
