I heard a couple of weeks ago that CKD offered him the same job he is at Georgia. been kind of quite.
That may have been another rumor that went around. I haven't heard or seen that. Courtney Morgan is doing a lot of the recruitment. And he's good at it.
Bama is expected to hire Jatavis Sanders from NC State as director of recruiting strategy. I hope he will be good. I know nothing about him except he can help recruit Georgia because he played there in high school I think and knows lots of high school coaches in the state.
It was substantiated but haven't heard much about it since. May have gone nowhere.

UPDATE ...
Removing Cox for the second time, as it looks like it's done one way or another.
Also removing David Cooper for the sole reason that the Jatavis Sanders hire is for the same or a very similar position. The Cooper rumors had been out there for a couple of weeks, all the way back to when Robinson left for Georgia, but may have been just that.
The most interesting/specific piece of new information is that the staff will be finalized in the next 2-3 days. And, that it might not be William Inge in the final spot.
And on that note, I have a "real job" outside TideFans that requires me to be out of pocket a few times a year and this week is one of those times. You will likely not hear from me starting Monday, Jan. 29 until Wednesday night, Jan. 31. If anything changes, one of the other staff members can report on it.
We're going to have a column on the staff when I get back to work, including bios/evaluations/comparisons and what we think it all means.

I don't care WHAT their titles are. I care that they can return the Tide to the TOP.
As long as they're bringing in 4* and 5* recruits. Mostly 5*.
The LB position is filled. I think it's more of ST position... We should hear something by this week... and it' will be a good hire.
He is referring to wommack who is the LB coach.Who are you hearing?
The position that is unfilled is likely a edge position and/ st coach
But we don't know that for certain.
It could just a dedicated st coach or a split deal or he could skip having a dedicated st coach all together, not likely but possible.
