These fellas are having a great time. Very happy for them.
Just for grins, I looked up UConn's run last year. They were a 4 seed. Their run to the NC involved playing the following seeds: 13, 5, 8, 3, 5, and 5.
If we can keep it to 10 points, we might as well just win. We're going to fight them either way.
If UConn beats Bama then so be it, but no one should concede the game before it even starts. Playing with house money at this point.
Everybody talks about how great UCONN is, but what everyone seems to have forgotten is that this Alabama offense is historically elite, too. Before the first injury to Wrightsell, we had around the #5 most efficient offense in college basketball history, and the numbers have begun to return to that vicinity in the postseason. I'm not saying we're gonna win, because I think it could go either way, but I do think this game is going to be an all out war.
That is interesting. That is about as easy a path as you can get. And this year so far is the same.
They beat some good teams OOC both years though. They are legit.
I've been patiently waiting all week long, and everybody I know says BAMA is going to get killed. We have nothing to lose, and I think our guys will come out loose and take it to UConn.
Yeah, that's why I find it funny that these opposing SEC fans are saying that "Alabama had the easiest path in Final Four history". No joke, someone actually said that. I did the math, and the average seeding faced of all the final 4 teams was as follows:
UConn: 8.25
Alabama: 8
Purdue : 7.75
NC State: 6.5
Save for NC State, the paths have been fairly comparable across the board. This should be an interesting Final Four.

sounds like something a barner would say. if they can think of a team that played a tougher schedule than Alabama, tell them to yale it out loud.
Well guys as you know I have stayed out of the game thread all four games of this historic run. And I’ll be out of the thread tomorrow as well. But may not be even able to watch the game tomorrow.
It appears I may had another heart attack today, almost ten years to the day of my first one in 2014. Bad, sudden onset of chest pain about 5:30 pm. Local free standing ER shipping me to hospital tonight for probable heart cath tomorrow. Elevate cardiac enzymes and ekg changes warrant a cath but everything else is okay. (Morphine take me away…..)
Anyway, I need one or more of you fellows to “double up” tomorrow in terms of pulling Bama through in case I’m zonked out tomorrow.
