Well, our offense looked really good early, but too many dropped passes in the 2nd half.

Simpson was the best QB on the field today, but I don’t think it will matter.

Our RB group might be the best in the country. If our OL develops, we could be REALLY good. Not 2020 good but maybe like the 2015 team.

From what I saw we can be a really good running team this fall. We have 4 legit RBs.

I saw more homerun offense from Milroe no real work on progressions. Simpson wasn't crisp but he worked his progressions and threw to different areas of the field. He hasnt mastered the long throws yet and that may not be a strength for him.

Neither guy separated himself imo. Defense is concerning especially against the run.

This is a fair assessment. I would say I still think Ty is the better option.

I would be okay with 2 QB system this fall until someone separates themselves. With the portal being what it is, you may see more 2 QB systems to keep depth from transferring.

Still a work in progress. Fun watching the guys practice but that all this was. Nothing resembling an actual game like the Saban Era.

Running backs look good.
Milroe started out strong then throttled back.
Mack looked bad, then picked up the pace.
Simpson looked good, then bad, then good. Maybe the touch football rules made him look weaker, like they did Milroe. I think the touch football rules really take away Milroe's strong suit.

Defense started out weak, then asserted itself a bit as time went on.
Fun couple of hours.

My greatest concern after watching that game - the drops. Have to get that fixed or Mahomes couldn't help you.
