There is no portal thread any longer , so I don’t know where to put this, but anyone heard anything concrete about Kadyn Proctor? I saw yesterday where some “journalist” speculated he may look at Ohio St where they are in need of a good Tackle to complete their CFB championship level roster. I thought he missed his ‘boys’ . Also, where does Parker Brailsford stand? Staying/going? Transfer in issues? He is still listed on the roster.

DeBoer says Parker is fine, and will get caught up. Apparently had some personal issues to tend to. Haven't heard that about Proctor. Sounds like untrue rumor. He's been dead set on returning to T-Town. Was at A-Day. Shows on the portal board as transferred already to Alabama. Not showing on the official online roster yet. If he is back, I just hope he's ready to play by the Wisky game. He's got catching up to do.

I guess it's possible that someone at OSU offered him a boatload of money, but it seems more likely that he's coming back to Bama.

Definitely risky move, since he can lose scholarship that he does not have.
I am guessing that if a player wants to try out for another school, he’d still need to go through the portal

Not sure. I saw it on a Facebook Bama page. So it must be true.
He is in the portal.

Not that you probably don't already know this, but if you see something on Facebook about Bama football (and it would apply to most other "newsworthy" things) not only is it questionable info, but it's also usually 3 or 4 days old.

Best source of "free" Bama intel is here and Twitter (and you have to be careful with some Twitter feeds and know who the guys are that like to troll and those who are legit with good info).

I have no idea if that is true but it seems more plausible then some of the other speculation that has been mentioned. Coach DeBoer was quite adamant that Brailsford is working out and that he will be back soon and that is very good news.

The story is that McClain didn’t practice during spring, and didn’t attend class. Word is he was in the portal long before the portal opened. His poor academic record may limit opportunities to transfer.

DeBoer said a few days ago that there are several scholarships available.
And, yes, you are right, there is nothing official yet. 247 crystal ball is as bad as any other site.
