Pleased with Milroe’s progress. I would still like to see better decision making, but I think we have to live and die with him now.

Our defense needs to learn how to tackle. Overall, we played an A- game, which is good enough to beat everyone on our schedule not named UGA or Tennessee. Losing Russaw might be devastating, but Overton is starting to become a problem for our opponents.

I think some of the bad tackling came from practicing how to tackle without risking a targeting call. Players are staying more upright with their shoulders high instead of getting shoulder pads down low. There was a video this week showing players basically practicing tackling high. At the very least, it leads to an extra yard or two by the ball runner on many plays.
