The Good, the Bad, and the Ugly…. Commodore style:

"key is to turn frustration into positives moving forward" (about Malachi Moore being upset at end)

"own it as a team and get better"

DeBoer is very calm and kinda sounds like a pre-game presser rather than a presser where #1 Alabama was just destroyed up front by VANDERBILT
He’s got a lot to learn. Just from the perspective of where he’s coaching now. It is what it is.

Good-offense played well enough to win, but could have been better. B+

Bad-the refs

UGLY-the defense. Couldn't stop a nose bleed. To get pushed around by Vandy and not look like a fluke? F‐
Also, the loss has ruined the rest of my day trying to enjoy some other games, cuz they are going to talk about our loss all day long

The good: very little

The bad: a whole lot

The ugly: my language and temper. I stayed off the game thread for this reason. Hell, I didn’t trust myself on the complaint thread. I was sick but I didn’t want a suspension.

Good- From a Vandy perspective, they whipped us on the line, and Pavia is a baller.
Bad- From a Bama perspective, we got whipped by Vandy and acted arrogantly while doing so.
Ugly- Our guys seemed to practice new endzone dances this week, but they didn't seem to realize how idiotic they looked dancing while Vandy was whipping their tails.

My biggest issue is it seems the defense quit in the 4th quarter. I’ve seen more heart out of a Shula team than this. Also our lack of composure and character, some senior guys showing their tails and that’s a major issue because that’s our leaders.

I would agree with you, but they appeared to quit before the first snap, not in the 4th. By the 4th they were just exhausted because of their poor play the rest of the game.

having to round up players after getting our tails whipped.

Guys this maybe the longest season since Ears was here this is definitely low tide for the program. It’s not that we lost it is how we lost

We lost to a spunky ULM team in Nick's inaugural season. There is a mentality that has to be established and this is a young team still learning the ropes.

Good: we still have #2, for at least the rest of the year

Bad: we seem to forget we have #2

Ugly: we played as if we either thought Vandy was a HS team or we prepared as if they were one. We played with no urgency at any point.

I'm not a fan of planned QB runs, but why do that last week and completely ignore it this week? How do you get outclassed by a guy at Vandy?
