Yep, ESPN had an article on this several weeks back. He was set to take the Auburn job and his daughter begged him not to leave her and he changed his mind. You don't turn down your daughters request like that. He'll be there 'til she's either a senior or gone.

Napier won't make it another month.

Norvell's buyout is pretty high, I don't think they'll fire him unless they go winless.

They've got the following coming up:

California - toss up
at SMU - toss up
Clemson - loss
at Duke - win (Duke is worse)
at Miami - blow out loss
North Carolina - loss
at Notre Dame - loss
Charleston Southern - win
Florida - who knows

UF and FSU may both only have 3 wins when they play each other.

I really thought Napier was going to be at least semi-successful at Florida. He may be a good head coach only at a Group of 5 type school. Lagway will be transferring somewhere.

Norvell....story on transfers not working out as planned. The exact opposite of Kiffin's transfer success.

Now that we are a little further into the season.......I'm seeing the only two losses for (3-2) Florida so far were from teams currently in the top 20 (#6 Miami and #15 Texas A&M).

While there are many more games left to be played, and Florida projected to lose most of them, at this juncture of the season.....is Florida (and by proxy Billy) not looking quite as bad as thought?

This Saturday, the Gators travel to Knoxville to take on Tennessee, who themselves stumbled in their game last Saturday against Arkansas.

The writing may well be on the wall but if Florida beats Tennessee in Knoxville this week and continues to win, I don't see Billy going anywhere.

I still think his play calling is awful. And that factor alone may ultimately be his downfall....

Supposedly we do have an OC but it's pretty much known that Billy is the one doing the play calling.

I really don't get it - how this continues to happen. Just mind-blowing.......
