I thought the one that lost to Ohio State in the 2015 semifinal was one of Saban's better teams (2014 w/ Sims, Henry, Cooper). Also 2016 team that lost to Clemson on pick play (Hurts, Scarbrough, Ridley).

1962 was danged good, but overshadowed by 1961 and the 1964-66 run.

2019 was pretty darn good. If not for a Tua injury, we beat LSU, and I've always thought we win a national title. If Tua is 100% that day against LSU, there's no doubt in my mind we win that game. Then of course, we probably beat Auburn handily too

2013. On the verge of a three-peat until every flukey bounce of the ball, missed kicks and some phantom penalty calls set the stage for the unimaginable ending at the World's Largest Compost Pile.

2016 would have put the bow on it all as probably his best squad if they had closed out that last game. That defense was pretty close to the best fielded and rates up there with the '92 squad.

Those were the only picks he threw in the regular season. Not sure if he threw one in the bowl, but I don't think so. We curb-stomped a good tOSU team.

He had a long streak of passes witout an INT after the Nebraska game, that extended into 1978. We sure did pound Woody. I think the tOSU final was 35-6.

Crazy how close we were in so many other seasons with CNS... fluke injuries, penalties, small things, just conspired against us!
