Game Thread: CFP Bowl Games | Fri Dec 27 | 4 SEC Games today (ESPN starting at noon CT)

If they let that little guy cook, The ‘Dores have an excellent chance to win.

How sad is a bowl that doesn’t have a corporate sponsor?
I kind of like it, actually. The corporate sponsor bowls are getting ridiculous. Remember the Poulan Weedeater bowl and how stupid we thought that was way back when. Classic commercials though for Poulan

Someone explain that illegal touching on the fumble call to me. First, how can it be illegal touching on a fumble? A pass, yes. And I think you can advance a fumble, except on 4th down. I didn't get what that problem was.

The weather isn’t helping Birmingham attendance, looks like a USFL game.
Actually; now looks like it filled in pretty good. Especially considering the weather is not ideal. Birmingham is a good walk up town for an event if the weather is good.

An official thought it was a forward pass, blew his whistle and threw the flag.

How is that not a crack back block? Blocking back toward his own goal line, the very definition. That said , I’m glad it wasn’t called, but there is no consistency to refs. I know , we already know that, but there was a crack back block similiar to this that cost us a TD earlier in the year.

Sad, They just said knocking off #1 Alabama. To go from 4-0 and #1 , to 4-3(FBS)after that and out of the playoffs. 😔

Who said this game was boring, it’s been fun to watch after the first drives.

I think the ref was looking at the ball carrier, not the play.
