Oh, I know that.
But that’s not what the Tim Brandos and other folks like him of the world even Joel Klatt, who is usually more sober, were saying. I’ve heard TB talk about “playoff privilege” so much l want to drop a 2ton beam from a crane onto him.
My greatest accomplishment in the social media realm was PO’ing Tammy Bondo on Twitterverse to the point she blocked me.

I saw the game thread on Tidefans. I would not have known otherwise. I watched zero seconds of it. I instead watched an old TV show I had never seen called Person of Interest. I think I made the right choice.
After a long day of helping one of my chirruns move, I watched a few episodes of "Frasier" and called it a night. :)

Literally didn't even know it was on until this AM.

I feel like the winner of this game is basically just the slave being thrown into the Roman Coliseum for entertainment purposes. I could be wrong because I'm pretty surprised the domers are still in it but I think the Ohio State/Texas game may be the real championship.
I think ND could give UT a run for their money.

How long does Franklin get to continue to lose any key game and still keep his job? Maybe PSU expectations are such that they accept he will never get them to the top...and going 9-3 is ok every year...this year the stars lined up for them and they still couldnt get it done...he's something like 3-15 against top 10....?
I don't really care.

It's State Penn.

I don’t know. I have a bad feeling about the way this crap is going. OSU has a talent for looking all-universe one day and then losing to Southwest Eastern Community College the next week. ND is the same type of team as Michigan. Wouldn’t surprise me at all to see them hoist the trophy. I almost puked typing that.

I didn't watch the game, but reading up on the stats, Penn State did not have single WR to record a catch.

That's not going to win many games nowadays. And yet, it was such a close game?

ND is going to get steamrolled by Ohio State or Texas. All of those people mocking Brian Kelly today (and make no mistake, he should always be mocked) need to understand he also had no problem getting ND to this particular point - the finals only to be destroyed by the other team.

I know, let's wait and see. But IMO, Freeman has made ND no better than Kelly did. And ND is still the beneficiary of not playing in a league and having a scheduling agreement with the most mediocre conference in the "P4" - the ACC. Oh they beat mighty Georgia! Yeah, Georgia who was without its starting QB.
I'll agree that Notre Dame is playing their best football right now. But they should be. They played a weak schedule that included some "big" names, (A&M, USC etc), but those teams were all down this year. Then, lots of rest as they played no conference championship game. Then, they get to play Indiana, another pretender, at home. Yes, they beat Georgia, but Georgia was without their starting QB, who was lost in the SEC championship game. Not to mention a coach who was probably more worried about his Dad than the game. Then they get to play Penn State, an average team coached by a coach who apparently likes to lose the big games. I'm hoping whoever plays them, OSU or Texas, pulls an UGA/TCU on them. My personal opinion is Notre Dame should be excluded from the playoffs until they join a conference.
