Here's an article from January that gives a little insight on what he brings to the table:Article didn't really reveal the "reason" CNO sought him out. What's his "secret sauce" that he brings to the program???
I don't think Brian Adams had one last year either. The NBA's hiring practices have always been a little strange. Everything I've read and heard seems to indicate that this is a solid hire, so I'm sure it's fine.He didn’t have a contract, that’s doesn’t sound good.
Yeah but somebody with that kinda track record doesn’t forget how to coach. From the article they brought him in to work their young pg who hasn’t been what they hoped. Not really his fault Henderson isn’t progressing like they wantHe didn’t have a contract, that’s doesn’t sound good.
I don't have inside info on this but Scoot probably has an off the court life that doesn't translate to his professional career being maximized fully. A coach can lead a horse to water but he can't make him drink. Oats wants him, I want him. He deserves that much from me at least.Yeah but somebody with that kinda track record doesn’t forget how to coach. Scoot was picked too high in NBA draft. He should've been picked somewhere between 15th and 20th. He was 19 years old when he was drafted. His game hasn't matured yet on the floor. Right now, My understand is that he's working on correcting some of his issues he had this season and it's much better. He needs to be more consistent with his mid range game and finishing off plays near the basket. Do that, and he'll start maturing into a solid player. For what it's worth, It's very rarely 19, 20 years old players in NBA suddenly become a star like that and their game hasn't matured yet.I don't have inside info on this but Scoot probably has an off the court life that doesn't translate to his professional career being maximized fully.
