Case in point: There is a lot on Facebook about the upgrading of Bryant Denny. To the tune of billions (2.5 billion to be exact.

Wow! Seeing how Byrne was recently publicly begging for money from the average fans, I am quite surprised that something of this magnitude would even be on the discussion table for them.

For reference, Allegiant Stadium is the newest in the NFL, and cost $1.9 Billion. $2.5 billion would pay for a whole new BDS, and I promise you that's not in the works.

I would say no. Because Byrne has consistently been at war with the boosters over money from day one and adding to the fact we don’t have whales for boosters I would say we aren’t spending billions on BDS.

Maybe the university needs to hire these people to do their fundraising. According to the article they reached the $1.5 billion goal two years earlier than projected.

Drove by BDS on Monday. There is lots of construction on the grounds & plazas around the stadium. Not sure what all they're doing. Also University Drive was blocked off between the Quad and President's Mansion. Again, not sure what all is being constructed. Didn't look like a $2B project
