No that was 1958 LSU.That wasn't the one where the bleachers collapsed, was it?
That was Bryant’s first game as Alabama coach.

Woe...I thought it was a "favorite"...but I guess you "remember" that. The 2006 Mississippi State game. The straw that broke the camel’s back for the Mike Shula era.
Two great games. I was at the ND NC game too.I have 2 favorites:
1. When Bama beat Notre Dame for the national championship in Miami. We were sitting next to several ND fans and they left at halftime. lol. I loved seeing Bama dominate that game !
2. When Bama beat UGA with Tua's 2nd and 26 play... we had great seats on the 50 yard line about 15 rows up.. this game was not my favorite until the second half when Tua came in. lol. I told my friend that we had a great chance to win once Tua started to play. All the UGA fans around us the first half who were so boisterous became really quiet second half. Some even cried after the game was over. Very stressful game with a great outcome for Bama. I will always love both Jalen and Tua! RTR
I thought the onside kick was the start of the second half?I can’t narrow it down to just one all time favorite, but one that comes to mind is 2007 vs Tennessee. I knew we were gonna have a great day when the opening kickoff was an onside kick which we recovered! JP Wilson, DJ Hall, Terry Grant and OC Major Applewhite had their best game (statistically) during their time at Bama. Kareem Jackson also burst onto the scene with 2 picks!
That was the best atmosphere in BDS for an 11am kickoff that I’ve ever experienced. The whole crowd stayed for RJYH and we all got to witness the mass exodus of vomiteer fans from our stadium! All of us left knowing that more great days like that were ahead of us.

That’s my #1 worst game attended. The 2006 Mississippi State game. The straw that broke the camel’s back for the Mike Shula era.
I was there also and froze my butt off. Crowd did totally go wild.First SEC Championship game in 1992 at Legion Field. Pick 6 by Langham to win the game. The crowd went crazy.
Alabama / Auburn 1971OK, I haven't started a thread on the FB board in awhile (and don't look for many in the future), but this is a fun topic and might get some interesting details shared:
Of all of the Alabama games you have attended in person, which one was your favorite?
I'm gonna go with the 2016 Aggie game at BDS. Now - for those who weren't there - the plumbing in the stadium went out, although if I go to the bathroom INSIDE the stadium then trust me, it's because I had no choice and couldn't wait.
But probably the greatest moment I ever experienced IN PERSON was when Jonathan Allen returned that fumble for the TD that pretty much sealed the game. Never have I been so scared in my life at a sporting event - because the thunder from the fans cheering caused the concrete to shake underneath me, it feel kinda like an earthquake. It was simultaneously exhilarating and frightening until it died down enough to just be incredible.
Incidentally, most of my trips to Alabama games have had some sort of glitch involved.
The plumbing not working - for me - was one of the least of my worries.
Freezing when the stands emptied at halftime of the 2012 MSU game was something different, though.
i was ushering with the boy scouts that day and the wilcox interception happened right in front of us. we were always ushering in the end zone section next to the student sectionThis is a crazy one but the 1981 Miss. St. game is one of my all time favorites. I was a junior and State had beaten us the year before over there breaking a long winning streak. I got in the student section really early with a big group of my friends we and kept everyone pumped the whole game. The cheerleaders even recognized us for keeping the crowd up. We were both top 10 and Tommy Wilcox intercepted a pass at the goal line in front of us to seal the win. Sweet revenge.
