I have a pretty common name, I guess, and there's at least one of us who is a flipping trouble maker in Central Alabama. My brother and I purchased pistols one day at a gun shop. The store owner calls the verification line and my brother has his pistol in less than ten minutes. I, on the other hand, had to wait while the verification people dug through whatever it is they dig through to ensure I wasn't the troublemaker.

You want to crack down on gun violence? Crack down on the source, people are not well.

Yes, I have. I bought a handgun years ago for home protection. Didn't have any hiccups and it was pretty easy.

I had to pass federal background checks to work at Norfolk Southern and I was still held up until the confusion was cleared up.

The system works, any more restriction and it becomes a problem in and of itself.

Children are about the same age as mine. Feel bad for the family. I don’t really think anyone deserves that and I hope who did it gets caught, but if he wasn’t at a rally preaching hate(he was in the middle of blaming trans people for mass shootings when shot) 100% he would be able to go home and hug their necks tonight.
