Nah, there are lots of posts (here and elsewhere) where people say things like "I didn't agree with a single thing Kirk believed but murdering him was wrong".Question: Does the fact that he was killed mean that the rest of his life can no longer be discussed? Boy, does somebody owe Abraham Lincoln an apology or what?!?!
It's the way some people are posting (here and elsewhere) that causes the pushback. The 'he had it coming', 'live by the sword, die by the sword', etc comments are distasteful.
There's a difference.
Again, I'm not familiar with the guy - I'm far from his target demographic - so while I likely agreed with some (maybe even much, I dunno) of what he said, I've no idea. From that perspective I'm largely unbiased. But I can still see the obvious jabs from some of the posts.
