Arkie fired Sam Pittman, and Motorcycle Bobby has been named interim coach. I know I was shocked too.
Please bring Sam into Tuscaloosa to work as an offensive analyst and help coach up the Oline.

- cycle through assistant and OC

Word last week was Sam was most likely out at the end of the season, short of some kind of miracle finish. Even with a loss to Notre Dame they would hold off until the season was over.
I guess it was HOW BAD they lost to the Irish, coupled with fumbling the games away in the 4th quarter with Ole Miss and Memphis. The PTB had seen enough.
But you give Petrino the interim tag? That’s laughable. He was the same guy that could only muster a FG against Memphis in the second half that led to their comeback.
I think Kane Womack has shown the ability to handle coaching in the SEC.
