He (like a few other former players) dont recognize this version of Alabama football. Its NOTHING like the teams they were a part of nor the style. To be honest, they dont like what they see and dont think it is a good fit for long term success in the SEC. I wish Harris expressed himself a little differently without being so harsh on the program. But, I get it, he has a passion and love for Alabama and doesn't like to see the program struggling.

I think we see if DeBoer can adapt next year... Bring in some OL, train up the good ones we have, and see if we can tote the rock effectively.

Honestly, I wasn't expecting Glen and Mark in 2008, but I didn't think we'd be this bad and that our roster of 6 backs is seemingly not very good and injured to boot. And add to that the overall very poor OL play.

This. Next year (IMO) we get to see what type of coach DeBoer is. In year 2 he had times of success and times of failures. What type of adjustments is he going to make, if any? Personally, if hes going to stay employed at Alabama hes going to have to tweak his philosophy. Not overhaul it, just tweak it.

He's definitely done enough to be given a chance to adjust and fix things that hurt us this season. Next season should be interesting.
