Yes. We have grieved for him not getting more playing time especially under the circumstances! In our opinion he needed another year of maturity and experience. An update on that…. Senior Steelers insider indicates that under no circumstance will the Steelers draft a quarterback in the top 2 rounds because they don’t see anyone outside of Mendoza as a top 2 worthy quarterback. This is even with the unknown Rodgers decision. They seem content with Will Howard potentially being the guy down the line
