Ya'll sound like the whinnest bunch of little bi*****. We Lost. Get over it. We lost to a crappy Missy Stake team. Yeah we did. But we have got to keep our heads up. Our players and prospects read these boards and ya'll sound like we are suppose to win the National championship this year and Dubose is still the coach.
So it looks like we are gonna end up 6-6 O.K. That's what is probably gonna happen but the Whinning ang moaning make you sound like a bunch of little woosies.
WE ARE ALABAMA. Show some pride and cajones.
I AM STILL PROUD TO BE AN ALABAMA FAN!
If you can't handle a bad year maybe you aren't.

I am not saying eveything is fine I am saying that the whinning and crying is getting old. I have the utmost faith in the fact some of the coaching staff will be gone. But I also think it is safe to say no one on this board will be at that meeting. Except maybe Terry P.
 
While some on this board speak the truth and let their feelings and those of others be known there are always those who feel threatened and want to quench the ire.

Bammar, how do you really feel? Do you feel that everything is going as should be expected? Bama just had their butts handed to them by a team that has only managed to beat Jax State and UAB (in OT) but lost to Tulane? Forgive me if I whine a little.
 
We've been handling it, but we're not willing to ACCEPT it.

You see, we're not accustomed to struggling with Mississippi State to avoid the cellar of the SECW. No real BAMA fan is okay with that.
 
Fans have a right to be upset. Any fan that has watched a talented offensive squad sputter the way they have has a right to be upset. The offense is not "almost there", it is broken and needs to be fixed quickly.

Dear Coach Shula,

Tidefans's members are a rather unusual group. Most of us are well educated and well informed people. We work hard during the week just to be able to afford to come to another Alabama Crimson Tide football game. We realized at the beginning of this year that this year was going to be a little bit tough with the youth we see in most positions this year. What we did not understand at the beginning of the season was that we'd lose in OT to Arkansas, we struggle against Vanderbilt and Duke...and lose to Mississippi State in Tuscaloosa.

Coach Shula we're tired of hearing your excuses and you making it sound like it's ok to be just mediocre. It's not ok. This is THE UNIVERSITY OF ALABAMA, WE WIN NATIONAL CHAMPIONSHIPS HERE. This is not Auburn and this is not The Tampa Bay Bucaneers...losing is not accepted nor an option.

And in conclusion Coach Shula, we must ask that you keep yourself off of these forums. There are alot of ****ed off fans here that would like nothing better to throw your noncoaching @$$ off a bridge.

Remember COACH, this is for your own good.

I can handle a bad year, we've had them since 2000, with the except of last year. What drives me up the wall is fans like you , that never see anything wrong with the team. The offense is in trouble, but fans like you never see that, all you can see is " Shula is a good coach and we should accept what he does and never question" Wrong the great fans see a problem and all we want is for the team to get better not go backwards. We pay money for Tide Pride and tickets, it's a shame to have to watch the offense play this way. They are just going through the motions, they play with no passion, no intensity, they play just like the head Coach acts, no emotion. You do not see that from the defensive side, Kines will get in the face of the defense and get after them, not Shula... It's time he acted like a Coach and get the offense frired up.
It's time for fans like you accept the fact this offense is not very good, but with the right coaching they good be undefeated right now. I'm so tired of hearing about depth and sanctions, it just makes me sick.It's time to stop using this excuse.
At times, the wrong players in the game for example, if Capps and Tatum are best right tackles we have, play the young guys and give them experience, Capps and Tatum couldn't block my Grandmother, she's been dead for 15 years.
My wife sumed it best on Sat. she said," I've seen more emotion at a funeral home than what the offense shows".....
Darby should be on "Dancing wiht the Stars" he dances more than he runs, this may as a result of his actions this past summer. I won't elaborate, but if you investigate you'll come up with answer.....
Just a few examples of what is wrong with the offense.
I apologize for this raving, but it's fans like you Baramr,that get my blood to boiling, you never see a problem and you critize those that do ...
 
Stop.......Seriously. No more of these useless threads, please. They are taking up space. I can't even read all of the topics because there are so many of these, "Keep your Head Up" or "Shut up and stop whinning" threads.

TRUST ME FOLKS,
IT"S BEEN COVERED. LET IT DIE.

And a little story about the optimist and the pessimist.

Once upon a time there were young twin brothers; one an optimist and one a pessimist. The parents of the twin boys wanted a professional opinion as to the differences in their children. The psychologist that arrived gave each boy a shovel and told him there was a surprise waiting for each of them in the barn. He instructed them to find a stall that needed cleaning, and shovel out all the pony poop that was there, in search of their prize. Both boys said ok, and headed for the barn.
About 30 minutes later, the pessimist child returned, threw down his shovel, and moaned that there was nothing in that stall except horseapples, that he was finished shoveling, that they were all lying and he didn't believe there was any prize waiting for him.

Several hours passed before the optimist child returned. He gently rested his shovel by the door, ran into the kitchen to get a large glass of water and upon drinking it down quickly, grabbed his shovel and headed back towards the barn. The psychologist called after him and asked him to stop and explain where he was going. The optimist child hollered back at him, "I'm going back to the stall, 'cause with all that pony-poop piled up, there's got to be a pony under there somewhere!"


Question is how long are we gonna dig through Shula poop looking for the $2million head coach that Mal and Bobby have seemingly found?

You need to face reality. This program is in trouble NOW and needs to be fixed NOW. We could all sit by the sideline and wave our pom-poms and not speak our peace, but this is a democratic nation and we have a right to say something.
Hopefully the university administration will read this and know how we fans really feel. The program is spiriling downward and needs some serious fixing NOW.
If it bothers you as to what we say and how many times it's said, then QUIT READING THIS BOARD.

It was a quote! You got the wrong guy. Did you see these " "? Huh? Bammar wrote it, not me. I was telling him to start a thread insulting people and calling them b****** was not necessary. Please look for these -----> " " next time.

And you said we can all sit on the side lines and not speak our peace. IT's BEEN SAID! How about just using one thread to complain...oh wait we had one, but everyone else so busy wanting attention for something they thought was important to say (that had been mentioned 300 times), they decided to start their own. I don't know how many times the mods directed us to it, but it was more than once. And I know all about the reality facing the program. It bothers me not because Alabama's program is in trouble, it bothers me that so many people are saying the same thing over, and over, and over, and over, and over again!

Can we please just start an official complaint thread! Sticky it or something. Every time I come to Tidefans, I see at least 14 or 15 new topics, most of which cover the same thing.

How many friggin' Butch Davis threads did we have? 40? "Nuff said...", Yeah, you told me off.

Well, the other issue is that I don't believe any decisions will be made by Mal Moore or Robert Witt based on what they read at TideFans. Maybe both Witt and Moore are registered members, but I think they get their info elsewhere....
 
If we accept bad seasons, then we are falling into the mediocre tier of college football. I refuse to accept a University that has such great talent, potential, and tradition to be anything but a winner. Coach Bryant said I ain't never been nuthin but a winner and I'll never be nuthin but a winner. CMS needs to take that to heart, so Bama fans can stop looking to the past and move on to future greatness that we are capable of.
