Bad year? I know last year was good, but have you seen improvement from the day CMS took over the program? I really haven't.

I don't call this whining, I call it venting. When people pay good money to be TidePride members, in our case 10 seats. You expect a conistant winning program. I do not expect to win the NC every year. I just expect us to be competive. This is the university of alabama. Not UAB, Tulane, or Miss St. We should be able to beat these type teams with no problem. We just want to see some sort of improvement by adjustments or whatever. If it means changing some coaching positions, so be it.

I suppose if you had problems at work or home, you would just sit back and wait for it to correct itself. or would you vent to your friends/coworkers about it.

One of my good friends is a Georgia fan. We are both "WHINNING" today......and for good reason.......learn to live with it or get ear plugs/eye covers.

Alabama football fans are supposed to take losses like this hard on the chin and not be "thumb suckers" as my eight year old calls them.

GOOD LOOSERS ARE "LOOSERS", period!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

How can you have that faith when it was painfully obvious that a change should have been made before this season but never was? How can you have that faith when you read what some of the mods on this board say about Shula and his stubbornness? If he is indeed forced to make the necessary changes, I'm convinced he'll never be the right man for the job.

The qoute is DEAD ON. I expect Alabama to win every game. What is wrong with expecting 100 percent?

When someone is fed up then there must be a way to let it out. That is why this board exist. As Tommy said we are handling it. It is not whinning when you know in your heart it wasn't left on the field Saturday. :BigA:

I know some of you never had the honor of witnessing Coach Bryant and his 10-0, 11-1, 12-0, 10-1 seasons. The Tide could go three or four years and never lose more than five or six games. Forgive those of us who know it can be done. Forgive those of us who watched in amazement at the Seventies and the National Champions. Forgive us for expecting more than what we are currently getting. Do not say something stupid like "it can't be done now". USC has done it.

And it's not going to be fixed quickly unless somebody figures out a way to lure Bobby Petrino away from Louisville or Steve Spurrier away from South Carolina. I'm not sure how long it would take either one of those guys to fix the mess we're in right now.

I couldn't have said it better, my friend. I saw all six of Bryant's national championships and Stallings' one NC (and they were things of beauty). And I'm seeing what Pete Carroll is doing at USC and what's happening at Ohio State and Texas. And unfortunately, what's happening at the Barn. Wingnut weeded out his problem assistant coaches and got people in there who could get the job done. And I'm afraid we're going to see the thumb and some other fingers before the university administration wakes up. I expect excellence EVERY year and am not ashamed to admit it.
