Wow, Clements would be a great hire. Just read his bio if you wonder about his credentials. He has been around alot of great coaches, and was a very good player for ND. He finished 4th in heisman voting there, which is huge. I say bring him on. Other teams wont be able to prepare as well for the unknown.

No inside information here, but I think Chow is an unlikely move. He is actually getting on some lists for NFL head coaching spots (don't think he's ready, but he is being mentioned). Even if that doesn't work out (don't think it will) he is in a good spot with the Titans, doesn't have to recruit, and gets to continue to work with Vince Young and presumably some upgrades with the Titan's offense. I'd be surprised if he went back to any college yet. I think he sees his next move as a head coaching job somewhere. JMHO.

Clements was the QB for ND when they beat Bama in the 1973 Sugar Bowl and also in the 1974 Orange Bowl.....

So being a ND guy is the only negative I know.

Fisher looks more and more likely for FSU. Don't look for Norm Chow to leave the Titans unless it is for a head coaching job.

Looks like Tom Clements is most likely to be OC at Bama.

Neither are official announcements from FSU. I could not find anything on warchant.com other than gossip on their forum either.

Supposedly Jimbo to FSU has been in the works for a while, it was reported on a LSU board at the beginning of December I think, and I would be surprised if Fisher went to Bama.

I knew that Fisher was probably gone after this season because as my LSU buddies have so nicely put it, Miles and Fisher hate each other. With a passion. In fact, they told me that Miles changes half the plays Fisher calls in. However, I wouldn't be surprised if he came to Bama.

I will be happy with whoever CNS decides to hire, because he wouldn't hire anyone that he doesn't have a lot of faith in because he wouldnt want to make himself look bad.

I think it is overblown by people. They go on recruiting trips together, so I have a hard time believing they hate each other. They do have different philosophies, which is why they butt heads. And if I were to believe rumors from the Saban era, Jimbo complained that Saban always held him back, or that Jimbo and Saban would go weeks without speaking. I seriously doubt it is as bad as it is being reported. If anything, I would be inclined to believe that Jimbo is hard to get along with.

Miles throws it deep more than Jimbo, so the offense you guys saw last night, save for the screens, were mostly the Miles influence.

Love to have Jimbo but FSU with diddy retiring in a couple of years may be a hard pull. He would have an inside shot at the job if he takes it. If he turns them down now for Bama he may not get that offer in a couple of years.
