I agree that it is not LSU purple but somewhere between purple and crimson. Whatever it is.......it is a weird color.

I will admit that my blood pressure spiked until I actually saw it.

Roll Tide.
 
As long as he is wearing Crimson on the sidelines this fall, I could care less what he wears any other time.

Also, I can recall seeing many pictures where Coach Bryant was wearing a blue tie on gameday.

Let's try not to make every little thing a big deal.
 
I don't want to go into 'meltdown' but it does strike me as a bit odd. Add to that the fact that Saban won't say 'Roll Tide'. Maybe he doesn't 'feel' Bama yet but its really strange.
 
I agree, we should chill out a little bit after all it's just a shirt. I don't expect coach Saban to be an Alabama fan, what I do expect is for him to produce football teams that can compete in the SEC west on a regular basis. Anything other than that I could care less about. :BigA:

Ok, well i can talk about his clothes. and that shirt was way closer to purple than crimson. you would just think his first time out in public really as the alabama coach terry would say, you cant wear that Nick, put on this crimson shirt!!! ESPECIALLY since we are playing lsu!

i just think it's kinda strange.

wish i could of seen him introduced and heard everything.

Saban's a merc. So what? Greg Maddux is a merc and he was damn awesome. As said already, as long as he wins, who cares if wears a feather boa and furry slippers?

CNS is not one of those guys that is going to say Roll Tide on que just so a few fans can here him say it. I'm sure he'll say it plenty down the road, and he'll mean it when he says it. Again, we have alot of people making big issues out of nothing. Let's let the guy get settled in and coach.
 
I don't remember Mal talking about a coach that would wear "really crimson shirts, not sort of crimsony sort of purplish" or a coach that, "must say Roll Tide a lot". I do remember him talking about a proven coach, which we got.

Some Bama fans are absolutely insane.

won't? Do people actually think he is going out of his way to not say Roll Tide? Could it be that its never actually crossed his mind that people are waiting for the day he does? I dont remember bear bryant rah rah-ing and saying roll tide.
