I also love the part in the article about Joe McKnight talking to Reggie Bush and Bush telling him he had nothing to do with any wrongdoing....

HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAH, Mr McKnight is gonna be in a world of hurt when USC is slam dunked by the NCAA.....oh yeah, it's coming...I live in LA and they are hot and heavy on this one....heck, it wouldn't surprise me if UCLA doesn't drive this one home in the media...

Bye bye NC Mr Joe!!!! Should have listened!

Miles sounded like a scared little man to me. He knows he's ridden NS's coattails. And the ride is now over.

Mr. Randy Watson of Queens, is Sexy Chocolate touring again? :biggrin2: :biggrin2:

Agree. I think of the term "false bravado"....ie, if you have to say you aren't scared, you're scared.

And thanks for the question about my band, although the name is "Sexual" (not Sexy). We are currently in retirement, but may get back together for a reunion tour someday. Wouldn't that be just *lovely*?

Here's what happens, anybody that negative recruits, the student-athlete that hears that has to qualify what's being said. And if that is without basis and without what would be a logical framework by which to communicate with that student-athlete, it immediately discredits them. So I can tell you that there was some negative recruiting going on out there.
Can anyone interpret that statement for me? It doesn't seem to make a bit of sense.

Meanwhile, members of No. 1-ranked tailback Joe McKnight's camp have said LSU coaches negatively recruited against USC by bringing up the investigation of former USC tailback Reggie Bush that could lead to NCAA probation.
Pot meet kettle.

If you are searching for a means by which to verify this statement, you have to first establish the framework appropriate to assess the situation at hand. Since this statement was made, it is necessary to infer that there is some degree of cohesion therein and thus the statement is hereby qualified. Therefore, the statement also makes sense!

Letem beat their chest. If there is a one of them that stood up and applauded his lame stuff that tells you they had rather have Miles Than Saban their a(explicit) liar. We know who has the better coach as time will tell. They are just burning their bridge with CNS. Which is a good thing IMO because I feel he reallly loved it there.

I'm not sure what further insight Tolliver gained by having the two school employees go to LSU to "check out" their academics.

What, other than a lot of patronizing propaganda, could they find out that isn't readily available through the plethora of NCAA reports and other documentation?

It doesn't make any sense for the coach of the school that finished with the #2rated class in the nation to complain about anything in the recruiting process.

It's working for him, you know?

Unless he is complaining about the school with the #1 rated recruiting class.

Even then, it's hard to believe.

Too much is never enough for some people.

Oh that's all we need! Another Fulmer type who's gonna imply a bunch of crap and have the NCAA a-holes digging around again...in search of anything they can find to burst Bama's new bubble. If you read the very last paragraph of the article, you'll know what I'm talking about. Maybe I'm making a big thing out of nothing, but after all of the bad times we've been through, I'm just a little paranoid. I don't think CNS would break the rules. I just think that all the NCAA needs is an implication or suggestion to get them started on a knit-picking. We don't need that kind of distraction.

I'm sure that he is completely clean. I think that if he wants to find somewhere where something fishy is going on then go to Illinois. Alabama, i don't think, has done anything wrong.

Everyone should send Les a hanky, just flood the place with them. he whines mor than my 9 year old.

Also on Finbaums show yesterday he started his show talking about "that clown of a coach" and LSU fans, said he didn't care if he ever heard from another one. Really ripped Miles and LSU fans a new one. Paul is stocking the fire, I like it when he gets nasty.

Tolliver's comment: ""Every time (Florida recruiters) came, they just said LSU doesn't qualify their players," Toliver told FOX 26's Mark Berman Wednesday. "About (how) their academics are not all that.

"It kind of had me confused."
Hmmmm...confused huh? What this guy was worried about was the fact that he's dumb as a bag of hammers and had to go to LSU to make sure he didn't actually have to attend class. Yep, LSU's academics are straight alright...LOL
