This video stops before the vulgar comments about Bama ... though it does include his gloating about taking two recruits from the state of Alabama.

Seriously, this guy is a bit unhinged. I mean, not just speaking as a Bama fan, but seriously.

Gloating about the number of Parade All-Americans, five-stars, four-stars ... he sounds like a drunk fan on a message board, not the head football coach at a major program.

And, my goodness, the LSU obsession with Alabama is becoming neurotic. You expect it from immature fans, but from the head football coach?

Before I saw this, I would have thought the Miles-bashing by Finebaum and Bama fans was just trash talk. Not anymore.

Seriously, it seems to me that we have replaced Ole Miss:conf3: :rolleye2: as their rival. I heard this on a talk show the other day, but you know that AUbarn is THRILLED with how this is unfolding and LSU's "concern" w/ BAMA.
 
Miles is going to run LSU into the ground and I've been saying this since early 2005. He's a bit weird and he can't coach worth a crap. Remember LSU/UT in 05? That was pathetic. He's riding the back of Saban's players and once things go downhill so will his recruiting classes. It doesn't matter how good of players you have when you can't coach them.

It is natural for Miles to inwardly feel the need to prove himself against his new next door neighbor, Coach Saban.

But in his public remarks to mock and curse Alabama, to preen and gloat over getting a whopping two recruits from the state of Alabama, to boast about stars and Parade All-Americans and being "from two to five" in the recruiting rankings ... that is not how a head football coach at a major program is expected to talk or act.

Classless, immature, and as I said, a bit unhinged.

I know LSU fans in a spasm of anti-Sabanism are rallying around Miles. But no one can honestly watch that video and say, this is a guy I'd be proud to have running my school's football program.
 
That was one of the strangest things I have ever seen from a head coach. It is almost like he knows the house of cards he has tried to put together is about to crumble.
 
I think that Ole Miss and LSU can settle FB game without playing it. Just let EO body-paint himself up in red and blue and Less Mileage in purple and gold and wrassle at mid field...
 
Better to not speak than to speak and let everyone know you are a bubblin idiot as Miles is. Recruits don't win games for next season. The question will be will the "Idiot" be coaching the recruits of 2007 when the 2009 season rolls around? I don't believe so. Micheegan will be calling and/or LSWHO will fire him.

The LSWHO fans don't care about that languauge because they use it themselves at the games I have been to in Baton Rouge. They will be using the F-bomb on Miles next season, wait and see.
 
The best part of the video was when a lady in the background yells out "fo shooouuu!!!"

I laugh harder and harder each time I hear that...

Imagine what will happen when Saban beats him.

Great link but let me get this straight, we are now the "main rival" of 3 teams?

1. The barn - no explanation needed for an in-state rivalry like this.
2. UcheaT - long running; well played (on the field) rivalry.
3. LSwho - Hired their EX coach

Does anyone see how 2 fit and the other is just plain crazy? Why are we always labeled the "rival"?
 
One thing's for sure ... no one can say the SEC doesn't have its share of colorful characters in the head coaching ranks.

Before I saw this video, I would have thought Miles was one of the stable ones ... almost boring.

Now I think he may be the most likely of all of them to be carted away by the boys in the white suits. And that's saying a lot in a league with Orgeron and Nutt.

Yep, and you can just about add Arkansas in there too. You know you're envied when you go 6-6, but still hated by all. They can say that tradition doesn't matter and that Bama "lives in the past", but I think most fans of those teams would slap their grannies for just half of Bama's history. ;)
 
So why did Saban get in trouble for his off the record, non-expletive (although controversial) comment, while nothing gets said about Les Miles cursing Alabama? Where's ESPN now?! Where's the media outcry saying he should be fired?! Les Miles moved up a few spots on my "Go to Hell" List, but ESPN still has front row seats in hell for Satan's version of "Brokeback Mountain" starring Saddam Hussein and Adolf Hitler.

Because Coach Lester is a nobody. We might as well get used to it the fact that Saban makes headlines, good or bad.
