Just out of curiosity, how was he able to practice and play in high school if his diabetes is that out of control? I really hope they get this figured out for his sake.

Coaches gave him breaks. He was such a great athlete, he could get away with missing a few reps.

I've read he had to come out of games in high school to take insulin shots. I had serious reservations about him being able to play D-1 football from the time I read about his struggles with diabetes. There's no doubt the kid has the ability to play at Alabama, the diabetes is what's holding him back.

There's a big difference in being able to practice and play games at the high school level and being able to go through Camp Saban and play in SEC football games.

I believe most fans posting about CL don't know about his medical condition.To be honest,I hope he gets it under control,but don't have my hopes up for him ever contributing at Bama.

Let him compete where-ever he wants. Ill take a guy that can run a precise route over a tall guy any day.

Marvin Harrison, Chad Johnson, Steve Smith.... thats all the proof you need right there. you dont have to be 6'5 to be a great wideout.

I just feel like with the WRs we have going in next year including Julio, and maybe Bolton, it would be easier to fill our holes offensively. I fear we have a huge need at Corner and this guy could come in and be effective early there.

I work with the defensive line coach for Charles Henderson High School, who Vigor is playing tomorrow night in the playoffs, he says if they stop him they will win. He said they will not kick to him and will take a penalty on kicks to keep from it. The guy i work with played college football and has coached at CHHS for the last twenty years. They think with thier offense they can make Scott play both ways and tire him out. We'll see.

I think offense only because we do not have that electrifying playmaker on offense right now. He is the type of guy where you hold your breath every time he gets it. I hope they line him up at receiver, running back, and maybe even quarterback to run some read option. I hope they run screens, draws, and reverses with him. There are so many ways he can be utilized effectively on offense. He doesn't have to play only one position because he is a freak athlete. I think he was sold on being used like Florida uses Percy Harvin and I hope that is how they use him.

I would say he would be better for RB since he has the size and speed.
