Surely not, especially after he signed a contract.

And there is no way that a two-loss team will ever make the BCS championship game. Oh... wait...

Seriously though, it's a snowball's chance in hades, but the Wolverines may be waiting. At this point, all we know is that they are in no rush whatsoever to hire a head coach, that's for sure. From all that is being said, they are not even close to closing in on a guy.

Skip Bertman doesn't know what hes talking about. If Bo called up Miles and said Michigan needs you he'd be on the first red eye flight home. Or maybe he'd at least go win a MNC for LSU then go.

Oh Dear God, please, not this crap again.

Can modern medicine just invent some sort of sleeping pill that allows all college football fans to just snooze from the last week of the season until the good bowls start just to miss out on all this coaching chances BS?
Feel free to skip any and all threads you think you might not enjoy.

I'll put it this way...

I don't think he's leaving LSU...

...but, it wouldn't surprise me if he did.

But...

...if he left LSU for Michigan, it woudl be his last stop.

Just like I think Alabama is Nick Saban's last stop.

You're probably right. If Bo called Miles from beyond the grave, Miles would go.

I used to think Bertman was pretty smart while he was the baseball coach down in Baton Rouge, but now...he says some of the wildest things ever. I agree with him, I don't know why anyone would want to leave any part of the South other than Auburn, but I'm sure the yankees feel the same way about the north.

This story is like a cat with nine lives...it just won't die. Even after Miles said he was staying, there were some who said it wasn't over. I guess we will see.

While all of these western division teams are wallowing in uncertainty, CNS is burning up the recruiting trail.:BigA:

When he said he was staying, he meant that he was staying until after the bowl game.:biggrin2:

If Michigan keeps holding out, the media is going to be all over Miles by the time of their bowl game. It's not going to be pretty. If he is really not going, he needs to say something again or tell Michigan no, because if not there are going to be alot of distractions.

I think LSU knows he is leaving and already knows who they are going to replace him with. Thus, they are all just preparing for the bowl game w/minimal distractions re: the players.
