Most annoying voice: Evanescence or Sugarland?

Evanescence Amy Lee has the high nerve-grinding Oh-God-make-it-stop piercing voice and SugarLand's Jennifer Nettles has the ham-it-up, nasal, off key, fake country accent piercing voice. All of this is my opinion, of course. But if you had to pick, which one is worse?

My choice - Jennifer Nettles

I'm willing to bet you went to the Sugarland concert which was held at the Columbus Civic Center. I was there as well, not by choice though. I can't stand Sugarland! Period!

And I love Amy! I also enjoy "Within Temptation." They sound a lot like Evanescence.

I agree. My wife loves Sugarland though. I can tolerate some chick music occasionally but the depth of the accent in her voice bothers me.

I love Amy.

The most annoying voice would have to go to Taylor Swift in that horrible, "because it's late and your momma don't know" song.

She's so off beat and at certain points, it sounds as if the microphone is literally in her mouth. Not to mention that's the exact opposite of what country music should be (plus add in a "fake country accent"). Oh, and when she says, "Front seat of his cahhr," is she referring to a "car?"

And I'll go ahead and respond to the next response ahead of time... Just because she's hot, doesn't mean a thing when it comes to singing country music.

that's another one.......No talent whatsoever other than being a marketable 17 year old who "plays" guitar and sings off key. But she's "hot" so there ya go......

Why has country music followed the pop industry? Would Patsy Cline get a contract today? It's all very plastic now.
