So how long do y'all think until ol' Tony comes out with his side of the story?
However the long the document he signs says before he can talk, which will be directly related to the size of the check Bobby has to make out.

Nothing new at the barn.

This was taken from Deron Furr's Facebook after the Vandy game:

"THE TRUTH IS STARTIN TO COME OUT AND I DIDN'T HAVE TO SAY A THING!!"

Status Comments:

"---- AUburn,me,carlos, and d.q, goin handle dem ------.REAL TALK"

"I agree!!! Auburn's offensive doesnt look good... Maybe if you played there as QB, maybe better than Todd and Burns... lol... I think you will do just fine at Memphis.."

Tony Franklin loaded up his car in front of the Auburn athletic building and drove away Wednesday, a little more than hour after he was fired as the school's offensive coordinator.

``They told me to get lost,'' he offered to an Auburn employee who watched.

He told someone else, ``I don't have any reason to hang around.''

Tony Franklin's brief tenure at Auburn ended Wednesday, as he glided through the complex lobby, quickly cleaned out his office, loaded boxes into his car and drove away.

Franklin hugged several student assistants, including some who were in tears. He told some of them, "It's all going to work out."

He joked with reporters who were following his every move, saying "Y'all look like you got fired," and "Better me than you."

Then he asked if reporters were just going to stand there, or whether they wanted to help him pack up his boxes. (No one took him up on the offer).

Does this mean that we will no longer get to see the MeerKats perform on Saturdays?
Look for 40 procedure penalties, against Arky, Saturday.

I sure wish Franklin coulda held on until at least Dec. 1st! ;)
Word is we will begin seeing their temp-OC this Saturday - someone by the name of Tubberville. As bad as their O was under Franklin, it is bound to improve even if Tubbs is running the show.

Look for Burns to get at least 70% of the snaps beginning this weekend & continue UNLESS Burns stinks it up really, really badly (odds are he will outplay Todd handsdown). I look for about a 70/30 run/pass mix. Tubbs will allow runs to dominate play calling until teams not just stack the box to stop the run BUT ACTUALLY STOP THE RUN... When that happens we'll then see a mix of RB screens & short dump routes to backs & TEs with 5-6 intermediate & 2-3 long routes per game to try & force defenses to drop out of box scrimmages. Just a theory. RTR
