Question: What was Saban so mad about?

I was waiting for Verne & GD to give us some insight, I figured someone screwed something up and he had to use a timeout that he didn't want to use just then, but I heard nothing.

I believe there was a mix up in formation and personnel that was suppossed to be in for that package. From what I could see on TV it happened several times last night. What we saw was an assistant getting his "tail" (kept it clean) chewed on for a huge unessasary mistake at a critical point in a game.

Like others have said.......
Wrong personnel on the field, and having to use that timeout took away Bama being able to still run the ball anymore pretty much or throw in the middle of the feild..........

Saban wasn't happy, and in a game like that. Saban knows mistakes like that can cost you a game...........

:BigA: ROLL TIDE :BigA:

Coach Saban holds himself to the highest standard and demands the same from those around him. We had another guy like that a while back and it seemed to work real well for him. ;)

It appeared to me that the other coach questioned him as to why he was calling a timeout and he very nicely told him that he was the head coach and he would do whatever he wanted. You could read his lips plain as day hehe...

Knowing CNS's reputation for being demanding and expecting the very best from those around him, I would expect this to be his reaction in the morning when he wakes up and sees that his hair is out of place. :)

I remember a few years ago many of us on here were all giving CMS a hard time about his use of language on the sidelines and it being picked up by the TV cameras.

Now flash forward to last night, the obvious language CNS was using (if you read his lips) was significantly even more profane, then why are we not giving CNS a hard time? Not a word has been mentioned.

My, my how things change when you are winning.

Sarcasm intended. RDT!

MDB98, amen to that.

I am sure I will get a healthy dose of hand clapping during the upcoming basketball season.

Uhh, because he is 10-0 and his team is ranked #1?

Not to bash Mark but i think he had better do a better job this year. I mean when you look at what CNS has done, the ADs office might not be so understanding...
