Joe Burrow Claims He Separated His Shoulder Thursday Before Last Year's Game

I don't know. The human mind can do many things. We had an important night baseball game coming up and I was scheduled to pitch. I woke up that morning with a pinched nerve that created thunderbolts down my back and right arm with almost any movement of my neck or upper body. My dad gave me a...

News Article: ESPN: The College Football Playoff Survey: 62 Coaches' Opinions and Harbaugh's Plan

I agree with the poor downtrodden players. If we're going to have conference championships and national championship playoffs we need to expand the number of scholarship players allowed from 85 to at least 100 or even 125. I know some teams can't compete with adding more scholarship players but...

News Article: Lsu Micheal Divinity is off the team (Will play in the CFPCG)

Jacob Hester was on a show this morning and mention DE Rashard Lawrence wasn't 100%. From looking at their depth chart they're barely 2 deep at most defensive positions so if any of them are walking wounded like we are at this point in the season they don't have much depth at any position.

News Article: Lsu Micheal Divinity is off the team (Will play in the CFPCG)

According to the LSWho depth charts I've seen Divinity is listed as a starting OLB. Thomas was third DE behind Logan and Farrell Jr.

Bama LSU - players remembered by their play

I played against Paul Spivey before his family moved to Montgomery. He was an exceptional athlete. He may have been the only hitter to ever get a hit when I pitched. If he didn't he was one of the few I ever considered capable.

News Article: Retrospective: A Look Back At The 1985 Iron Bowl

I've seen Auburn pull more games against Alabama out of their butt than I care to remember. They are indeed America's luckiest football team. The 1985 Iron Bowl was a little payback.

Where Do You WANT to Be Ranked on Tuesday?

It's always difficult to compare teams against who they've played. Teams can play good, bad or indifferent from week to week. Keeping a team focused all season is possibly the most difficult task coaches have no matter the talent level. The teams we've played are better than they're given...

Big discussion on the LSU board: Tua to play or not to play?

I played tight end in high school. Our right tackle broke his wrist on a play and was screaming in pain on the ground. The player he was engaged with taunted him so I slid over to the tackle position for the next play at my request. I told the right guard to hit him high and I'd hit him low...

Big discussion on the LSU board: Tua to play or not to play?

I was taken by how quickly and well just the one shot worked.

Big discussion on the LSU board: Tua to play or not to play?

Like the rest I'm not a doctor and know nothing of how severe Tua's injury is BUT I had a situation over the last couple of weeks where I had severe pain in my right big toe and I do mean severe. Both joints were swollen and throbbing with pain with inflammation across the whole top of the foot...

Auburn’s defensive effort, scheme vs. LSU show why Kevin Steele is 1 of nation’s best

I doubt we change our defensive scheme(s) much. Our offenses are similar. Our defensive guys go up against it every day of practice. The two things we'll have to do for certain is play their receivers close and aggressive to hinder timing AND unleash Lewis and Jennings like they haven't been...

Football Nerds -- Alabama VS LSU (I'll take it ;))

I didn't catch what stat they said Bama's defense was #8 but in over all stats our defense is higher rated and despite the fact that we haven't played a ranked team yet we have played teams with better offenses than LSWho has. Florida and Auburn may be good wins but neither would be in the top 5...

Alabama stats as we head into Bye week

I'm not sure I understand your 3rd down conversion percent for defense. NCAA stats has us at 34.8% with LSWho at 32.5% for opponents 3rd down attempts. Another interesting stat is Total Defense: Alabama #19 at 307.5 and LSWho at #24 at 315.4. Auburn BTW is #36 at 342.6 yards.

The Good, The Bad, and the Ugly Hawg style:

Hmmm, I'm not sure we watched the same ballgame on the Bad:. Arky had 13 first downs, half by penalty, on 56 plays from scrimmage with 213 total yards and was 3 of 12 on third down or 25%.

    AP Poll

Re: AP Poll LSU #1 If Auburn's a top 11 team I'll kiss every dogs butt in Texas.
