I can't decide if the season was a success or not. People always talk about the mission being to win a championship. In that regards, this season was a failure. But in reality, I think this team over achieved by a game or two. But something has to change between now and next year. O-line...

Good: Not a lot really. Talty hit a FG. Bad: Too much to type. Ugly: This team's lack of mental toughness and will to win. I haven't see it like this since before Saban arrived and it gave me PTSD to the Shula era I was on campus for.

I seem to recall a quite famous Alabama coach who played QB in school, but went on to teach DB's and be pretty successful at it as well... all to say, you don't have to have played that position to learn and teach it.

You better believe it. They’d never admit it. But it’s common for a coach to go to the captains and tell them to have a players only meeting.

There's a few things that I'd question about this 'players only meeting': who called this meeting - was it a player or a coach? what was the purpose what was the outcome will it matter
