Mods, I remember when the potential serach for a new coach first started, some of you thought B. Davis and Saban would not coach at Bama because of past incidents with Bama. For example, Saban's run-in with Fran for recruiting current Bama players to LSU, etc. I'm assuming this is a non-issue...

I agree, mostly. Why wait unless they are finalizing the deal with the future coach, which I don't beleieve is happening because something would have been leaked by now. Where I disagree is that I personally think they will end up letting Shula go. Our admin is just dragging their feet...see...

Re: lol more rumors I believe that is incorrect. Saban and Spurrier have the same agent (Jimmy Sexton) and Petrino has the same agent as......Shula (Russ Coleman)!
