    Your first Bama Game

Bama/Ole Miss 2000. Bama coming off a nice W over 4-0 South Carolina had some momentum. Bama blows out Ole Miss 45-7, highlighted by AC Carter's 180+ yard performance. Just awesome. Bama's last W in the 2000 season though. Horrible year.

Stat comparison of Bama & barn vs common opponents.

I thought I might add that, despite these statistics, Auburn and Alabama's offenses have gone in different directions as the year has progressed. These are very misleading stats. Cox has not performed? 9-2 TD/INT ratio and 226 a game is not performing? Did you not watch the UGA game...

Great season, my one beef and then I'm moving on to Auburn game.

About CMS's offense...there have been a lot of things about it that have bothered me over the previous three years...but perhaps the most telling factor in his ability to call plays and develope an offense is the fact that the offense has not changed since day one. Against USF, the first game...

    Alabama vs Aubarn Predictions!!

People... I'm not sure if anyone knew this or anything... but... uh... Auburn has never beaten Alabama by more than 10 pts. 'nuff said. This isn't gonna be a romp. Never is. In fact, Auburn plays it's second worst game of the year... and two Brandon Cox interceptions later... Alabama 19...

    Is Shula the offenses' problem?

It's what we've done from day one when Shaud Williams, Wesley Britt, Justin Smiley, etc etc were in charge of the running game. Counter, pulling guard UP THE GUT. It's the same running play we've been running for 3 years...it has nothing to do with current personnel.

    Is Shula the offenses' problem?

I have broken down Alabama's offense the previous three seasons. Yes, I am a college football nerd/junky and I kid you not...I do these things. I mean...I am not joking...it has not changed. It simply has. not. changed. From day one vs. South Florida to NOW vs. LSU...can you tell me what the...

    Is Shula the offenses' problem?

You just summed up our offense in a paragraph!! That is NEVER a good thing...think of how easy it is to prepare for this offense!!

    Is Shula the offenses' problem?

    True on all accounts

    Is Shula the offenses' problem?

The only thing we're doing dif. now than we were early in the season is hitting deep balls. We are still running the football effectively, with 102 darby yards today...it's just that such a LARGE part of whether we score or not is predicated on hitting the deep ball. And Brodie has simply missed...

    Is Shula the offenses' problem?

Haha...nah...if we go 13-0 I will have no reason to complain because I'll know that the offense has finally arrived!

    Is Shula the offenses' problem?

The FL and SC games are the two classic examples that everyone points back to...saying, "hey! look at this! see?? we do have a good offense! just give it time!" Well...we had one sustained drive vs. UF. The other 3 TDs came on three plays. One play in which Brodie actually managed to hit a wide...

    Is Shula the offenses' problem?

I've judged this offense in situations where the personnel that has been a burden for the team (this season the offensive line) has not led to the demise of certain plays (sacks, pressures, tackles behind the line, etc). Other than the games against Tennessee and LSU (maybe the two best...

    Is Shula the offenses' problem?

Well, this isn't just about "how I'd like our offense to look and how many passing yards and rushing yards and points Id like...etc etc"... This is about the Alabama football team taking the next step. We have the defensive coaching in place to have a GOOD defense ranking in the top 2-3 in the...

    Is Shula the offenses' problem?

Oh, and about the offense I'm suggesting... I'm not talking about any of this BS gimmick spread crap...good god...anything but that. Just a well-run offense with an efficient passing game...emphasizing the 8-10 yard routes and INTELLIGENT PLAY CALLING...something that has been lacking at...

    Is Shula the offenses' problem?

Well...sorry to say...but things have changed quite a bit from 1992 to 2005. For one, the playing field in college football has evened quite a bit and the offenses in the SEC and around the country have gotten A LOT better. And as for LSU...uh...they averaged 33 points per game in 2003...and...
