Anderson will be fine. Roach had the same type of surgery about this time last summer. He'll be ready to go in about 3 weeks. TC, on the other hand, will probly redshirt. I think he needs the extra time to heal. That will stink for us this year, but it will be nice to have TC in 2007. We could...

maybe he's the player that has supposedly agreed to pay his own way. If that's the case he could play as early as this year and not count towards the 85.....just a thought.

BOL interviewed Hanrahan a week or two ago and he said he would grayshirt this year and be part of the 2006 class. No mention of the Bryant Scholly at all....so I believe you can switch Hanrahan to the grayshirt column, which will give us 4 grayshirts this year.

don't forget about Hanrahan. He stated that he will enroll in the fall and grayshirt this year. He will not be a Bryant scholly guy. So that makes for 4 grayshirts so far with one more possible (Cardwell) if Ricks qualifies.

wow....that's way too close for comfort. The NCAA clearing house is always unpredictable.....I'll remain skeptical until he reports in august. But, if he actually does make it, that would be HUGE for our depth at MLB.

I heard about a month ago that they were both doing pretty well. Anybody have any more recent updates on these two? I haven't heard a peep about them in a while. I'm hoping no news is good news, but I'm getting a bad feeling about their rehab for some reason.....

If we can get Zachary, ut can have Hawthorne. I think Zachary is as good or better. Hawthorne just gets alot of hype b/c he's so tall IMO. That being said, I would love to get either of them.

the all-star games might be good for players like Gilberry who do not have any major offers. But for players like Johns, who have already signed with a major program....the game is just idiotic, nothing to gain and literally EVERYTHING to lose. Dumb...dumb.....dumb. Did I mention that I hate...

does anyone know if it's his throwing shoulder or not? If it is...he may be a LB or safety and not by choice. Surgery on the throwing shoulder for a QB could be career ending. Fortunatly for him, he can play several other positions.

those highschool all-star games are so stupid. If I were Shula I would strongly persuade my guys not to take part in them. These kids have nothing to gain and everything to lose by playing in these meaningless games. That being said, this sucks for JJ, but he probly would have been red-shirted...
