a big sister has to brag...

My impression... was fall of '06. He should get a RS for '05, pitch at PJC in '06 and enroll at UA in the fall of '06/

A look at the rest of the SEC**

Considering... Evan Bush may be starting at 2B, a Freshman may be starting at 3B and we lost the best defensive 1B we've had in a while, I'd say that alone drops us below A+. Not to mention we are starting two new corner OF and we lost our best Catch and Throw guy behind the plate.

    Fall Notes 10/27*

I am starting to get excited. I agree, we should have a great pitching staff. If the offense can gel, we will be very tough at the end of the year. I am hoping Davis fills the "all-pupose" roll out of the pen that Brent Carter filled last year, with Copeland becoming a dominating set-up man...

    Fall Practice Notes

Jjh... Any word on how any of new pitchers have looked? Also, any word on how Ponder has thrown so far? How has Pennington looked? I am willing to bet he will improve vastily from last year.

    Early Fall: The Infield*

Great stuff JJH... It's almost a must that Bentley have a big year. And someone really must step up in the middle of the infield.

    Early Fall Preview: The Outfield*

I understand... what you are saying about defense (and that is why I said "if he can make the routine plays"), but the thought of having Paiml in the field is part of the reason I said what I did. He may prove me wrong this year, but he has 17 errors as a part time player over the past two...

    Early Fall Preview: The Outfield*

Jjh... Any indications that Matthes might get a look at SS. He may not be the prototypical SS, but his offense may make up for the lack of range he would probably have. As long as he made the routine plays he seems like he would be a possible option at SS, or even 2B, where we seem to have...

Those are not rules that applied to baseball even before the hurricane. Although, I heard yesterday that UNO's athletic facility was in good shape.
