Russia’s Quid Pro Quo Offer on Venezuela for Ukraine

And the Russians at this particular juncture were signaling very strongly that they wanted to somehow make some very strange swap arrangement between Venezuela and Ukraine…. You know, you have your Monroe doctrine. You want us out of your backyard. Well, you know, we have our own version of this. You’re in our backyard in Ukraine….

[Sondland in charge of Ukraine] it was very unusual because we were given no instructions. There wasn’t a directive. Ambassador Bolton didn’t know about this. Nobody at the State Department seemed to know about this either…

I've never known an American president who fully understood the geopolitical significance of energy as much as this one does.

I’ve never known an American president to do this much of an impersonation of Saddam Hussein.

You know, invade a sovereign nation, take over its oil resources, and whine about somebody not paying their fair share of something.

Yet he said within his first 100 days the Ukrainian war would be over…

Anyone that says that they are the only person than can do something is either a crazy person or a narcissist.

The same clown said he could end the Cold War in one hour back in 1984 before Reagan had his first meeting with Gorbachev, in fact before Gorbachev was even leading the Soviet Union.

the only thing Trump ever managed to end in one hour was the United States football league and Stormy Daniels’s career without STDs.

Donald Trump has said the US will now control Venezuela's oil industry, bringing in American companies to rebuild infrastructure and reverse declining production.

Venezuela has the largest oil reserves in the world, and Trump has been clear that the commercial opportunity this represents for the US was a significant reason for the removal of the country's president Nicolas Maduro.

Sky's business and economics correspondent Paul Kelso discusses how American involvement could affect global oil prices - and whether it will benefit Venezuela itself.

How did they find him? Simple.
The CIA tracked his 'Pattern of Life'—what he ate, what he wore, and exactly where he slept.
They didn't just guess; they knew.
Back in the US, Delta Force built an exact replica of his safe house, rehearsing the raid until they could do it blindfolded.
And the blowtorches?
Those were for the panic room. Intelligence knew Maduro slept behind bank-vault-style steel doors. The team brought heavy-duty thermal cutters to burn him out.
But in the end, speed was their weapon.
Operators breached the room so fast, they caught him before he could even lock the door."

Talk about the real intent of the Monroe Doctrine… Jeez i wonder why we stopped doing this? Could it possibly be because it creates anti United States governments closer to home and gives our true enemies closer access to the Western hemisphere?

No, that can’t be it. Those countries all love Donald Trump.

Don’t believe me? Just ask him, he will tell you.

Quite honestly i think he read a chapter of Teddy and Monroe and got bored so he read about Bill Clinton…. That is assuming that he can actually read.

But this whole maniacal push is going to have someone ask the question “if this was possible then why can’t we do this to Cuba, Iran, and North Korea”. Either Trump is going to chicken out or get us involved in something way over his head.

The same people who claim to hate George Bush for starting wars and say they voted for Trump to put a stop to presidents using the military at will are now - all of a sudden - very happy that the United States is renewing an international norm of imperial intervention.

It sounds like he's whining about the nationalization of the oil fields by countries. The petroleum was mined by those American companies, but they don't OWN the damn oil. Now, if they hadn't compensated the compaines for the technology and machinery, that's one thing. But this jingo crap about our ownership of other countries' resources is just bogus. It's not ours. And if we get American servicemen and servicewomen killed in the process, there needs to be show trials.
