I’m pulling for Indiana because I respect how good a team they are. They are mature, disciplined and well coached. It will be interesting to see if Miami can slow them down with their defense. I suspect Miami may have some early success before Indiana methodically plays ball control and has the game firmly in hand by the forth quarter. Indiana may be the best college football team I’ve ever seen.

If that happens, it's all but official:

Ole Miss would have likely won the National Championship this year if not for Lane Kiffin's ego.

They had a team with the talent, the mindset, and the camaraderie to win it all - especially since they were peaking at the right time. Just a slightly better performance against Miami, and they're here instead of the 'Canes.

You can't tell me that Kiffin blowing up their program right before and then again during their playoff run didn't hurt them at all.
