Not a blind spot. He pushes his team to work through runs. You think he doesn’t understand how to call time outs? The guy who has won more SEC games the last four years ?

Of course he "knows how" to call a time out. Just because that's what he does doesn't mean a TO can NOT stop momentum.

If not, all the other coaches who do it must be wasting TOs.

It’s not just about momentum. We typically come out of a media TO with a much better offensive set… we did it with Sherrill out of that 4 minute TO. But even if it is about momentum, you have to do something to threaten the opponent’s rhythm.

If Bama hadn’t been routinely hosed by officials for the last 40 years, I’d wonder if the NCAA is punishing Bama for the Bediako situation through the officials.

Something I've noticed is that with our tendency to play drop coverage off of ball screens their guards know that when they come off the screen that the 13-15 footer is wide open. They've taken several and made a bunch of them.

It’s a boost for one team when they know they can do whatever they want with impunity, and demoralizing for the other team when they’re not sure what parts of the rule book will be enforced. It’s not subtle today.
