Well that was a tight one the whole way. Whew
Coach with the T and them having 4 straight made FTs came at a critical point. Thankfully it didn't cost us.
A&M shot 50% from the field and 42% from 3.

If A&M shoots their normal 3pt % we win by 10. Amari played with ‘tude - Jamison is an offensive presence. He had 10 points in 6 minutes in first half.
Few things:
1) I thought Richard Hendrix was great and was really impressed with him. I could see him becoming one of the staples of CBB media in the coming years and love seeing a Bama guy being a part of the next generation.
2) Bucky McMillan is a heck of a basketball coach. What he has been able to do in one year with this team is nothing short of amazing. The defensive pressure he puts on teams when considering the style of play he uses on offense is really difficult to match. I can only imagine he will be a top contender for years to come when he is able to get 11-12 of "his guys" signed.
3) Big win and we needed it badly. Hopefully this team starts to gel and find its identity.

It was great not hearing Bediako hot takes the entire game.
Agree on your points...but I'd add that TAMU is probably a good matchup for us in that they play fast, but because they pressure on defense, it leads to more open shots for us and their rebounding (at least in this game) looks more like ours because they get so spread out on offense.
After commenting on this post earlier yesterday, I totally forgot about it until pretty late and before going to bed I opened up SM and was pleasantly surprised to see we had won it by 3. So this morning I got up and watched it, with no drama, no we had won. It's not a bad way to watch!
Our defensive fundamentals are just so bad it seems, but we played hard. Big win for sure. And A&M got away with bloody murder with very few whistles. This is becoming 1980s NBA ball it seems.
