Kentucky got hosed late in the Auburn game with a “flop” by the AU player leading to an offensive foul with UK up by 1 with 14 seconds left. Auburn gets a put back with one second left. Mark Pope, UK coach, on “how to say you officials suck without actually saying you officials suck”.

As he walked away from the microphone (I won’t post because of language-but you can find it) you can hear him say (my guess is to his AD, association AD, or SID) paraphrased “I don’t want to hear anything about any fines because I didn’t say a single word about officiating and how they screwed us”.

Too bad both teams couldn’t have lost last night. And don’t expect me to feel sorry for Kentucky or Mark Pope, especially after that comment he made about Bama and the selection committee during the Charles Bediako situation. It’d be pretty funny if Kentucky ended up getting left out of the tournament now.

Gutty win yesterday. In Oats’ Friday presser, he spoke at length on how concerned he was that Wednesday’s game would affect yesterday’s game… you could see it throughout the game.

I’d say we were fortunate to walk away with a W and probably not a lot to really glean from yesterday. Got a quick turnaround for Tuesday too. RTR

Absolutely no complaints about this game from me. Great win and still decently dominant as far as bball goes now. Never in doubt which shows some grit after the Ark game.
