Trump Attacks Iran, II

I read a lot on this. And I'm in despair.

One side you have ORANGE MAN BAD.
On the other side you have PWN THE LIBS

Both sides talking about how they "won" on a particular issue.

I have a question. When does America win? When do We The People win?

The rest is just children squabbling.
It’s not squabbling, it’s divide and conquer. The people that voted for Trump and most conservatives wanted the things he promised during his campaign, BTW the majority of Americans wanted but some didn’t vote for, and are stuck being labeled deragotory names by those on the left because the things he says and does. The people on the left want more freedoms for individuals, which use to be a conservative thing, and the environment which should be an everyone thing but are stuck being called names by Trump and those on the right . When the country, now the world is n Chaos , it is easy to deceive. And that goes for both sides, just Trump has taken it to a new level.. My observation is most Americans want pretty much the same, most are centrists with slight right or left leanings. Both political parties have left us behind .

Yes imo

He will get thousands killed and spend billions crushing our economy to keep from going to prison and many others will assist him to avoid the same end.

If any normal regular person was in the Epstein files as much as him who also had dozens and dozens of Sexual assault claims from women and shut some of them down with settlements and constantly said things publicly that indicate their predilections they would have long been investigated, arrested, and put on trial.
I heard a discussion of a retired US Army Colonel yesterday that Trump and Melania appear hundreds of times in the Epstein files. The estimate of the number of times is so large, and I can't verify it obviously, so I won't repeat it here. It is pretty clear the Epstein was not a lone actor in this entire saga.

Why this matters, if IRAN can launch missiles at Diego Garcia, they can launch missiles at European cities in countries that host U.S. military bases. Would NATO then get involved?

It doesn’t have to hit its target, just the symbolic launching of missiles would accomplish a goal of fear and terrorism in Europe.

As long as they are launching it at US bases and not US/NATO bases in NATO countries then it’s highly unlikely that NATO countries would get involved in a war started by a buffoon that is constantly trying to bully NATO countries.

So far, Iran’s response is both rational and pragmatic. They are attacking US and Israeli interests in the Gulf states. Unless they attack US bases in Turkey i seriously doubt there is much concern over this becoming more than what it currently is amongst active combatants. The US has more or less worn out their good will with NATO under the Trump administration.

So you think civilian Luxury hotels and ENERGY DEPOTS are US interests in those states? What you are calling rational , the rest of the world calls reckless.

And neither was Trump a lone partner. There are literally dozens of power brokers, celebrities and billionaires in those files. I highly doubt the hundreds figure, being the last manifest with Trump on Epstein’s plane was 1996 and Epstein didn’t buy the island until 1998. And Trump didn’t marry Melania until 2005, and supposedly Trump broke with Epstein in 2004, and supposedly dropped a dime on him in 2007. I hate these posts because I’m not trying to defend Trump, just trying to be objective.

And us and the Israelis aren’t bombing schools and gas fields i suppose… oh wait. But I guess that is okay because we had bad intelligence and it was an “accident”. Also with Trump threatening to bomb nuclear energy plants I don’t think we really have some moral high ground in this game of escalation.

We are here because of Trump and his religious eschatological fanatic friends got us here. None of this would be going on without them. So excuse me for pointing out the obvious in that “Iran is defending themselves” and we can’t really be surprised in the manner they are doing it. It’s the only effective way that they realistically can.

It’s time, you can debate on whether there should be a war, whether Iran had the ability to build a nuclear weapon, or whether Israel is an ideal war partner. The one thing we can’t debate, there is no diplomatic resolution. The only endgame in site is win the war. Otherwise, it’s a waste of money and lives. The Gulf States get it. Time the American people accept it and get on board. It’s no longer a war of choice vs. war of necessity. It’s now a just a war of Neccessity. Period.

That’s the same lines we heard for 20 years in Afghanistan. “Win the war at all costs” there is no more diplomatic means available. How about we let the Israelis, these Sabre rattling Arabs, and the 77 million people here who voted for this war actually fight it instead.

We could get out of this war tomorrow with effective diplomatic measures but we have absolutely the dumbest people running our government so I predict we will be here for awhile.

I respectfully disagree. At this point, if you leave that regime/ IRGC in charge in Iran, we will see a huge uptick in terrorism down the road. He kicked a hornets nest, with no where to run. It has to be eliminated, for future peace in this country. This isn’t Iraq or Afghanistan, where if we pull out, we lose what we have gained. In this case we loose the people of Iran , and we have given born terrorists with renewed confidence and weapons developed by China and Russia and improved on by Iranian engineers a newfound reason to attack the U.S.

The obvious problem is that there is no viable alternative to the regime. Would you prefer a pirate state of one with endless revolution until someone probably worse happens.

We lost the Iranian people once we let the Zionists draw us into this conflict. We aren’t getting them back in this generation

You serve/ have served . You know damn well that bombing of the school was a mistake. No Aircrew or Navy Fire control officer would knowingly target a school. And that wasn’t what I responded to. You made the comment NATO or the EU wouldn’t get involved because Iran would only bomb U.S. interests in EUROPE. I simply pointed out they are bombing non military/ U.S. targets in surrounding states

We haven’t lost the people. Unless we pull out without helping them , it is estimated that 70 million of the 90 million population wants change. I do agree about the devil you know, but I really don’t think it’s an option at this point.

Yeah but does it really matter. It happened and we can’t take it back. The enemy will point to it and it will be justification for the same way Abu Ghraid was for every Wahabbist still today.

Yet the regime exists after 5-6 years of large scale protests. It points to one conclusion… Iran doesn’t know what it wants to replace the regime with so it exists.

it's sickening to me that folks are making money betting on war. the mango moron jr is an investor and is on polymarket's advisory board which makes it even worse
The sad part is that this has been happening in one form or another for well over a hundred years.

People willfully profiting from the deaths of others is disgusting to me, but sadly, it's not abnormal.
