Game Thread: Elite Eight - 2026 NCAA Tournament TV schedule & non-Alabama catch all

I'm still interested in seeing how the tourney ends.

I won't be glued to the set exactly but will have the games on and hoping they are all very close until the very end.

So the guy doing play by play for Purdue-Arizona just made a comment along the lines of:
“This is his first year playing at Arizona but he has being playing professionally over in Europe for several years so he is highly experienced….”

Well color me surprised….not.

That tells you everything that is wrong with college basketball today…in one single statement.

Tennessee getting ran out of gym. Barnes teams always do pretty good in tourney but then run into a top level team and they don’t have enough offense to beat them year in and year out. Then you throw a game where refs are calling it tight and they get blown out.

Reactions: day-day
17-7 free throw disparity between the teams.

12-7 foul difference. Terrible lopsided officiating, again.
Just because the free throw shooting and fouls are not even doesn’t mean that the officiating is bad. Tennessee fouls a lot that is their style of play and there best offense of players don’t drive to the basket much instead are jump shooters. Gillespie is the guy with the ball the most and he shoots 66% of his shots either from 3 or jump shots. Your not going to get as many fouls if your a jump shooting team.

Agree to disagree: you’re not shutting teams down defensively without committing fouls.

Michigan is just as “physical” as Tennessee on the defensive side.
