We'll see, but, I agree before the injury the staff was high on him. Considering he hasn't hit the portal he may end up staying and if he does I sure hope he's an impact player as they expected!

12 million that we have doesn’t go as far as it used to. And by that I mean last year. The reports are Flory Bidunga got around 5 million to transfer to Louisville, Aiden Sherrill is getting 3.5-4 million to play for Indiana. John Blackwell and Juke Harris looking for 3+ million. For context the 14th pick last years pay scale was just under 5 million. The 18th pick is 4 million and the 25th pick is $3 million. So if your not going to be a top 20 pick or so and can get a good chunk in college it probably better to stay. The only difference is the first round NBA contract is 2 years guaranteed then 2 option years.

These guys getting $3million-$7million a year, they can't make that in the pros,not even in Europe, Sherrille is not worth $4 million, he want even play in the NBA, I think Coach Oats is not going to pay these guys that are not worth it, Cade Phillips seemed like a slam dunk for Bama,but ATM has gotten in on the bidding so we shall see

Does it make me a bad person that I thoroughly enjoy watching teams spend obscene amounts of money and get nothing from it?

They gonna be really disappointed in that ROI!!!

The kid we just picked up from Miss. St. actually knows how to dunk a ball around the rim!!!

OTOH, Sherrell likes to shoot 3s and tries to see how creative he can be with finger roll layups at the rim.

Am I being petty cause he left for Indiana??? NO! I've been saying it all season long. I've never seen a guy almost 7 feet tall that was that soft around the rim! NEVER!

Exactly. And he for sure is not a program changer. Which is what you should get for $4 million.

I liked Sherrell BUT he may as well have been a 6’ 10” 255 pound wing.. we need more players like Garrison and JDF.

I wanted this guy bad out of HS, he can SHOOT if I remember correctly. We recruited him pretty hard and got outbid I’m sure.

Been watching some video of Cloer this morning and you are on point: this boy can shoot the rock!

Maybe the best form shooter we've had under CNO. The basketball, shooting hand an elbow line up perfectly. He has a high release point and beautiful follow thru!

We will want him to shoot alot of 3s. He's perfect for CNO's system.

His biggest problem will be whether he matchup on defense. He needs a few lbs to help with the SEC grind, but we got some insta offense!!!
