Kalen DeBoer has gone in record time from "the next coach at Penn State/Michigan/Wherever" to mediocre coach.

By the standards of Alabama, DeBoer may well wind up an average head coach, which would mean 10 wins a season.

Accomplishing that at Auburn would make him the greatest coach in school history.

This "new member" shows up for this? Yeah, "mooo."

But, I tell you, a portion of our fan base got broken in the last 3 years. Yeah, I'm including the last year of the CNS tenure that starting with the headscratching game in South Florida and ended with a terrible loss to the eventual NC.

You'd think most of these people didn't live through the 80's and/or the 3 Mikes, but I know some of them did.

We are 2 seasons removed from the GOAT and some people act like we'll never have another good season, ever!
