Okay, I read the story wrong. I thought Arnold owned the Air BnB. So they stayed there and their stuff was stolen. Why not contact the owner, see if they have cameras then go from there. Also, if the "stuff" was jewelry, ATV's or some sort of boating equipment, insurance should cover it. No need of doing this.

Lions cornerback Terrion Arnold is facing multiple felony charges after he was arrested in Tampa, Florida, in connection with a robbery and kidnapping in early February.

According to the police investigation, the incident began after personal property belonging to Arnold and others was stolen Feb. 1 from an Airbnb that Arnold rented in Largo, Florida, and periodically stayed at with the six codefendants -- Arianna Del Valle, Jasmine Randazzo, Lyndell Hudson, Christion Williams, Boakai Hilton and Freddie Lee Hughes III -- and other friends.

Arnold, Hilton, Hughes and another individual reported property loss totaling more than $250,000 to the Largo Police Department on Feb. 3. Arnold, according to Tampa police, suspected that two of the three victims in the kidnapping case were responsible for the Airbnb robbery, but investigators later determined they were not involved.

I got outside early this morning to attempt to beat the heat on some of my yard work. The very same thought came to mind as I was mowing the lawn. “Surely some of the stuff taken was insured, right? Why not let the legal system and the insurance companies handle it? “

I think sometimes athletes think that rules (laws) are something you make up as you go along. You settle things in society the way you do on a football field, baseball diamond or a basketball court. You “do me dirty”, retaliation is coming. You hit one of my guys, my pitcher is buzzing your head. You gouge my eyes in a pile after a tackle, your singing soprano in the school choir on Monday. An elbow to the chest leads to an elbow to your chin at the other end of the court.

Lots of good things to be learned by playing sports. Vigilantism isn’t one of them.
