I have to chuckle. Who would ever think a thread on saying something positive would become a thread on ladder safety????

Well, we have had non-Bama game threads drift into discussions about what is and is not grunge music, why the Varsity is gross, other food discussions, relationships, and sometimes just random weird stuff so a discussion of positive things turning into ladder safety isn't a surprise. We sometimes get bored here.

I know what you are saying. That's one of the things that make this site special. My theory is that given enough time, all threads will drift into discussions about Bama hats


Edit: So was anyone wearing a Bama hat when they fell off a ladder??

Me and the Mrs. have been married 20 years this past March. 4 kids, 2 of which are in college and 1 entering this fall. I finally graduated with my Bachelor’s this past May. In a matter of weeks we’ll be breaking ground on a new house. I’m a blessed man!!

To add to my first post, we had strong t-storms come through a couple of weeks ago in the middle of the night. Lightning hit our house and we lost power and our refrigerator, microwave and all our food. With insurance getting involved it took almost a week to get an adjuster to the house. We finally were able to get a new fridge and repaired the microwave. It was a rough week getting resettled but thankful the house was not damaged nor catch fire. God is good!

Glad no one was hurt by the lighting strike. My son's house got hit by lightning about a year ago. It blew up a toilet and blasted a hole in the PVC sewer pipe exiting the house. The adjuster said he never seen anything like it.
