Ok so here we go with the 2nd half. Only one game yesterday mets-philly and mets did us a solid and beat philly
We have a relief pitcher that is batting 1.000
Kinley is terrible7-6 Rangers
Like I said, we don’t have the arms.
The Ohtani Rule. Basically they are treated as 2 different players. so if you are taken out as a pitcher, you can remain in the game as a DHI need to review the DH rule, as I don't understand how we keep ending up with pitchers in the lineup. I thought they were separate these days.

It was 13-1 at the time so it is not like it mattered. We don't have any elite hitting pitchers, so why would we use the Ohtani rule?
Still doesn't make sense to me, as there have been several games where pitchers are suddenly in the lineup but are pinch-hit for when their spot comes up. Why are they suddenly in the lineup but never take an at-bat?
Edit: Gemini told me this, which would explain it...
If a manager makes certain tactical adjustments during the game, they automatically forfeit the DH for the remainder of the contest:
- Moving the DH to defense: If the DH enters the field to play a defensive position, the team loses the DH spot. The current pitcher must immediately take over that spot in the batting rotation.
- Moving a pitcher to another position: If a pitcher moves from the mound to play another field position (e.g., outfield), the DH is forfeited.
I did not realize you could lose the DH in certain situations.
Do we actually have anyone worth trading that anyone will want? We really need at least 2 pitchers and I don't think we have the available players to trade that anyone would find appealing. Unless we find someone dumber than AA.We really need some dependable SP’s other than Sale.
AA said something the other day about wanting to add someone IF they were available.
If we don’t pick up at least 1 Top 2-3 Rotation caliber SP before the deadline I will never believe another thing that man says.

Murphy injured a lot and was batting worse than Kim. I would try though. we don't need him.Would probably need to trade prospects, cash, and at least 1 player that’s good enough to start.
We have an unending supply of Catchers for some reason.
I wonder if we could get anyone to take Sean Murphy?
