    Bama beats UNA fairly handily.

    I give the slight edge to Rico as the starting PG. Yes, he turned the ball over a good bit, but also had 11 assists as the starter. Mikhail did some good things and some bad things as well, but I think Rico shined a little brighter.

    That's what Hillman wants to bring to the team this season - hard-nosed perimeter defense - at least that's what he told me. He has the ability to score in bunches, but with the weapons on this team (Hendrix, Gee and Riley), he will be asked to defend the perimeter with most of his minutes.

    Riley was obviously the star of the game. As always, I was impressed by Justin Tubbs and his defense. Mikhail Torrance did some good things, but I think he still needs to focus more on distributing the ball as opposed to driving the lane and putting up a 7-foot floater.
